OZZY OSBOURNE WILL APPEAR AT HYVINKÄÄ ROCKFEST
Ozzy Osbourne, unquestionably one of the rock world’s greatest legends, has announced the dates for his Farewell Tour, which will take him to the Hyvinkää Rockfest in Finland for the last time in June 2018.
Osbourne will step onto Rockfest’s main stage on Wednesday 6th June.
Osbourne will be joined at Rockfest by longtime collaborators Zakk Wylde (guitar), Blasko (bass), Tommy Clufetos (drums) and Adam Wakeman (keyboards).
Osbourne has toured the world for five decades now and performed at over 2,500 concerts, both as a solo artist and as lead vocalist of Black Sabbath.
He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and has also won a Grammy Award – but soon all this will come to an end. Starting in Mexico in May 2018, his Farewell Tour will last for one-and-a-half years, after which he will step down from the stage.
The four-day Rockfest to be held in Hyvinkää on 6th-9th June has already confirmed the appearance of world-famous heavy metal band Judas Priest and a host of Finnish rock stars.
A world-class superstar is promised for the main performance on each day of the festival. The names of more artists will be published later this year. Finnish bands booked to appear include Children Of Bodom, Mokoma, Kotiteollisuus, Timo Rautiainen & Trio Niskalaukaus and Santa Cruz.
Rockfest will be held in the new concert area in Hyvinkää’s airfield. Altogether over 40 Finnish and foreign artists and bands will be performing at Rockfest.
